Today our lecture was about the Gestalt theory. This is very important basic concepts, Closure, Continuance, Similarity, Proximity and Combine, for design students. Also, we had an exercise in using one of the these concepts in designing layout. My design concept is Closure and the main shape is circle. The idea came from the picture so I designed the body text that looks like part of the main picture’s shape. In addition, I used two different fonts for the title and body text.

The combination of the image and the body type creates the shape of the dandelion flower. It looks obvious creative. I wonder if the picture is sized larger too much.
